FAQ's

What is 3D printing? 3D printing is an additive manufacturing process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital model. It is achieved by laying down layers of material until the final object is completed.

Why go with 3d printing? By using a 3d printer, parts can be manufactured in hours, instead of wasting months of time and spending hundreds or thousands of dollars utilizing traditional development methods. 3d printers are also very versatile. You can print in many different colors and in various materials quickly and efficiently.

Do you offer color options? Yes! If you see a print that you'd like to purchase but would like it in a different color, please contact me!

Can I paint the prints? Yes! Feel free to use spray paint to change the color of the prints. I suggest you sand the prints beforehand. Start with low grit sandpaper and move your way up towards a higher grit as you sand. You can also sand with water as you progress to high grit sandpaper to prevent clogging. When you sand, try to use even, circular motions to create a smoother finish.

Annealing prints? You can anneal prints (stick them in the oven to make them tougher) however, they might shrink. Since the prints are made to specific tolerances, you might end up with fitment issues. Go ahead. I won't stop you, but you have been warned.
